Pyoderma Gangrenosum :The lesions are well defined, with surrounding violatious or bluish border, in addition to the presence of puckered scar of an old lesion (in the upper neck), so PG was the definite diagnosis in this case. On the other hand, dermatitis artefacta are usually ill-defined and haphazardly distributed.

Systemic steroids, dapsone or a mix of both is the treatment of choice. dose of systemic steroids is 60 mg/day to be gradually tapered after complete clinical improvement. Dapsone is used at a dose of 100-200 mg / day according to the severity of the case (do not forget to do G-6-PD).
